2017 - 2018 USC Transfer

@silvermansachs My online transcripts updated in my portal the following day. This is after I received notification that they had been sent successfully by the service I ordered from.

I’d say they were pretty strong. Had them reviewed by my academic counselor and a transfer specialist at my CC. They gave me a thumbs up.

@jonathaanv I think you have a very good chance, don’t really see any reasons for you to be denied. Anyways, good luck!

@penntousc thanks, hope so!

Hey guys, I’m applying for sophomore transfer. I’m an American citizen and went to high school in the US, but I go to a 4-year university in Canada. Does this make me an international applicant?

IS anyone else confused by the CSS profile thing for Financial Aid documents?

I completed mine a week ago & wasn’t too confused by it. IIRC it was just asking info from your W-2 and what you are thinking you’ll make in the future. I am an independent re-entry student though, it could be more complicated for students that are dependents

So what hashtags did everyone put down for their response?

@stahboy oh boy, mine was rather cheesy haha

I put #TrustTheProcess since I’m a diehard philly fan and because I’m progressing, I would say it’s corny but I don’t think that there’s a hashtag in existence that isn’t corny lol

@dirtydonut what was it? Can’t be that cheesy

@stahboy #HereICome

lol I don’t know how I feel about it, I feel like it’s kinda corny lol!

My hashtag was #TeamCersei because I put Game of Thrones as my favorite TV show. Thought it’d turn some heads lol. I should have made the hashtag transfer-themed though.

@gosteelers123abc It was a long process, but it was pretty straight foward. Most of the questions tell you what lines to look at on the tax returns. I didn’t get the waiver so I had to pay for my application on CSS 8-|

@stahboy I used #Basic because it is an inside joke between my friends and I. I considered using cheesy sports slogans, but I figured I’d use something that is more close to home.

Anyone have any trouble with the financial aid application? I had to appeal the non-custodial parent part due to personal reasons. I’m all good now and it says my application is under review and doesn’t require any additional stuff, but I didn’t expect to have to do that

Haha nice hashtags everyone. I chose #asdfghjkl :slight_smile:
