Hello,
I am posting to see if there’s anyone here applying to USC masters of fine arts for 2017.
I’m curious about others who’ve applied or are applying, what your reasoning was for applying, and what you’re hoping to achieve or accomplish in the program.
Or,
Why are you pursuing a master’s and why USC in regards with your goals? What are your goals? Why USC and not other schools?
This might be a stretch since I can’t imagine other MFA prospective students here, but it’d be great to meet others intersted and applying too. It’d probably be better if I reach out to alumni to gain perspective. That’d be helpful.
Personally I’ve been working on learning game design and development for a year since studying Psychology for my undergrad. I’m on the east coast so I’ve met some indies and artists there and ehh, just did my thing while staying home, exploring interactive media, design, and the game industry too.
Though it’s not needed to attend school, I think this is just an option to work on my stuff and a horrible excuse to be in Cali, haha. But I also think I need some help with my work and collaborate with other great people. I feel the resources in USC will help with that, as well as explore my vision of games and what they could be. I won’t need to be so super indie.
It’d be great to hear about you as well so please post! And if you are an applicant, good luck with your aapplication.
