I advanced!
My DD also has the new application and congratulatory note as well. So far, everyone on here does so I’m not sure we should all be jumping for joy yet. Her district is one of the most competitive in California so we didn’t expect her to advance to state. I think we will wait for the email…guess it will come out around 4:30ish again?
That said, thank goodness the state application is easy, no additional essays! How do we upload the SAR from FAFSA? Is it just the email confirmation page? Or is it something else?
if you log in to the fafsa you can print the sar from there @fidoprincess

Just received an email and I’m moving up to states!
I just received an email that I advanced to states from North Carolina! Does anyone know how to upload a PDF of their SAT scores?
I advanced in RI! I first saw I had the States application on ists and then I got an email a few minutes ago confirming my advancement.
Sorry, guys! I just figured out how to download my SAT scores into a PDF, but for some reason my EFC is not on my FASFA downloaded report. Did this happen to anyone else?

Do we know how many advance to state? What is the pool of applicants that go from district to state and then state to national?

I am in Florida and I just got off the phone with our local lodge. 14 people from our Lodge submitted an application, 3 Boys and 11 Girls. All three boys (obviously) went on the the next level and they received an email stating this. According to the scholarship chair at our Lodge, they have not been informed of any girls (which one is my daughter) and when they inquired they were told it would be to the beginning of February before they know anything. Really confused (and so are they) especially with the deadlines that have been posted.

@LindsayHarvard mine does too haha… I think I’m going to upload beforehand because I know my semester average is a bit lower than I’d like it to be, but it’s all a matter of personal preference:)

if anyone figures out the number of students that move on from each district and the number who are selected as state finalists (to move onto nationals) that would be greatly appreciated!

My son received his email as well that he is moving up to state level. We are in Florida. Can’t help but wonder how many kids move up to state level?

I advanced from Indiana! Having some trouble uploading my documents now, but hopefully it’ll be resolved by tomorrow.

If you didn’t get an email, but you have the state finalist application on ISTS goes that mean you advanced?
