Yeah gotta be state. All the national awards are standardized and the 8k one comes from scholars weekend which hasn’t happened yet.

Mileage will vary by state. Confirm with yours. They may have gotten 13k total but you may only have 8k total. Varies by state. I got nothing from my state.

The email we received in our semifinalist notification said:
Of the 500 National Semi-Finalists, 20 Finalists will be selected to attend a Leadership Weekend in Chicago from April 6-9, 2017.
Since the weekend is at the beginning of April, I’m thinking we’ll have to find out sometime soon. Or at least I’m hoping, haha! @math3matical
