I just got accepted to UW at 3/15 when I checked online. The packet didn’t arrive yet, but I’ve been check on my unofficial transcript to see if I’m accepted by Foster in Freshmen Direct Admissions. For now, my unofficial transcript Major says: “PRE-MAJORS (A&S)”. Does that mean I’m not admitted? Or it could change in the future to “Business Administration”?

Work experience: News website reporter/ editor (3yrs)
Key Club, National Honors Society, AA Academic
@0moonpearl0 I think that means you are in the school but not the business program for at least freshmen year, but I am not positive. I know you can apply for next quarter to the business school if it turns out you didnt get in to freshmen direct. Congrats on getting in!

@0moonpearl0 i dont think so! You definitely will get in next quarter if not now. When you receive your packet you will know forsure. I still havent heard back from the school itself so I just hope I that I can get in.

I am on the same boat here. Got "pre-major (A&S). You have really good ECs relating to business! makes me wonder what criterias Foster looks at in the application ~X(
I think I’m gonna drop uw for business school elsewhere.
@blinkblink17 I heard that they are “pure stats” with an Direct Admissions rate of 22%. So they don’t look at your essays or anythings, just your GPA and test scores and just get the top 200 in…
Really? My uw gpa is 3.94 and my sat score is 1410, but I saw that a OOS got Business Administration with 3.9 UW and 1350 SAT score on the 2021 acceptance thread.
@blinkblink17 Our GPAs are all in the 3.9s. I guess we have a high chance then =D>
I believe they look at more than just numbers. My transcript says “business administration.”

Anyone else’s pre-major (A&S) changed to Business Admissions today?? My is still remaining pre-major (A&S) 
I hope that they are not done with reviewing yet…
i think some people get business administration on their transcript since the very beginning, so it didnt change or anything.You will know for sure what major you get in when you receive the mail. Best of luck to you!
