2017 Ivy League Transfer - Harvard, Yale, Brown, and Cornell

Hey everyone,
I wanted to start a thread for ivy transfer applicants.
Has anyone received calls/emails about interviews?

Keep on keepin’ on.

I applied to Harvard for transfer as well, I have not received a call for an interview. I’m guessing that’s either because I received 2 interviews back when I applied as a freshman or I’m not a contender.

Anyone have any idea how many transfer applicants for Harvard this upcoming fall 2017?

@tolkiencafe They usually admit 10-15 out of approximately 1500. About 5 of the admitted are recruited athletes.

Anyone applying to transfer to Harvard…doesn’t belong at Harvard.

You are too stupid to know Harvard won’t consider you.

@CornellAEMplease while the transfer acceptance rate for Harvard is incredibly low and chances are next to impossible, they do accept a couple kids. It is uncalled for to be condescending to people just because they were ambitious. Cornell’s AEM is also very hard to transfer into, but would you say that you don’t belong at Cornell or that you are too stupid to not know that they won’t consider you?

I did not apply to Harvard but I am just saying that your comment was uncalled for.

@Dontskipthemoose Cornell AEM has a close to a 20% acceptance rate

While Harvard has a 2-5% acceptance rate. Basically whoever they want, they tell. They probably dont even read your applications

@CornellAEMplease AEM’s acceptance rate is not 20%, unless you have credible sources on that figure. Even if it was, it would be deceptively inflated from guaranteed transfers and the actual rate would be closer to sub 10.

Regardless, AEM’s acceptance rate has nothing to do with you being condescending to other people.

@CornellAEMplease Wrong. Harvard’s transfer acceptance rate is not, 2-5%, it is <1%. Also, Harvard read my application, emailed me after a handful of admissions officers had read my application, and I had an interview.

Be nice, dude.
