Called NMSC and they confirmed today DD is a finalist.

I wanted to hold out, but lasted about 30 seconds reading this thread. S is a finalist. But am going to let him find out from school or the letter home.
Got principalās phone call this morning that D is a finalist, as are the two others at her school! Yay! We are in central Florida
Just called National Merit Organization and he did get moved to National Merit Finalist! We are in Alabama and absolutely thrilled for his accomplishment!
*PSAT - 215 (1440 -710 reading/writing-730 math)
*SAT - 1480 (680 reading/writing - 800 math)
(216 would be the selection index)
*ACT - 34
*Weighted GPA - 3.854
*Unweighted GPA - 3.440
*Has only had Advanced or AP classes in math, English, science, history or Latin.
*Did have one C (79) for one first semester in 10th grade Advanced English!

Email notification from the guidance counselor this morning in South Florida. Good luck to all.
Weāre in! Got text from S17 just now heās a NMF!! Phew!
Waiting to hear from USC, Rice, Duke, Emory, Wash U., Vandy. Admitted to UT and TAMU computer science. (Weāre in state in Tx of course).
Now to figure out how to play this.
PSAT - 222
SAT - 1510
ACT 35
GPA - about 3.75. Not sure weighted.
About 8 APs so far.
Had 2 semester C+'s freshman year at prior school before transferring to his current school.
I called and confirmed S17 is a finalist! S17 doesnāt know yet. If he isnāt told at school today then Iāll let him know when he gets home.
