@JBStillFlying Yes, he is NMSF, admitted, Fafsa finished and sent there in October. Web site packages aren’t sent till April, so was surprised to hear of your experience. Will have son check on what is going on with that.

No problem @mnhusker1962 - I’m surprised he hasn’t heard anything! Did they at least send him a letter congratulating on getting NMSF? D17 received one in October. If he didn’t then it’s definitely time to get on the horn!
@JBStillFlying didn’t see an nmsf letter from them in the “must keep this” pile, but do have the acknowledgement of receipt of the Fafsa, and that initial awards will come out this month. Hopefully in the next few days he can tell them something besides semi-finalist. Again, thanks for the info.
We’re going back for another visit in a couple weeks, so we will definitely check on things then.

O.U. … Received a letter from O.U. today saying, although their application deadline is past, NMF’s are encouraged to apply. FYI for anyone who may want to add O.U. to their list but thought they might be too late to apply.

YES!!! My son just texted me that he found out at school he is a finalist!! We live in KY!
School received letter in Alabama.
It will be interesting to see if anything is said at our school. All SFs make Fs at the school over the past 7-8 years. But this year there is reason to think one of the SFs will not make F. Will school want to single that kid out by telling the other SFs who made F or will they just let next week’s letters handle that for them?

Daughter in Utah got called to principal ’ s office today and was confirmed as finalist, but they told her she could tell only family until she got her personal notification next week. You guys are like family, right??? Super relieved since her school didn’t turn in their stuff til more than 2 weeks after the due date in Oct!!
Yes - He took a tour earlier this year and loved it! I was really impressed with all the improvements - so thankful it will be free!
And really glad I made her re-take the SAT when she was sick and got a borderline score the first time.
