@Tex151 I found out yesterday. I’m in Utah.
@Tex151…I sure hope we get some news today in Texas.
@Tschoonover44…Congratulations!!! We are headed the Sooners 2 Scholars event soon. I sure hope Texas can find out something today and celebrate also.
My son got the notification today in NY.
Our school is closed today, so I guess Ill have to wait until Monday
Homeschooler in CA. Notified of advancement by mail yesterday. Best wishes.
@caroldanvers I’m assuming you guys were mostly unaffected by the snow?
@JBStillFlying The $5000 NM stipend is part of all NMF scholarship packages as indicated by @3scoutsmom in reply #104. The only difference is if your student receives a $2500 NMSC or corporate award. Our D received $2500 from NMSC. She received that amount in a check from the OU scholars office last fall and the second $2500 was given this semester. Otherwise, the NMFs get the $5000 spread out over the 4 years: $625/semester.
@musicalmatrices yes, we are in upstate NY, so we got 6 inches of snow, but that is just normal here. If schools are closed I guess you are stuck waiting until next week.
Still no word for S. His scores are comparable or better than others posted, so that is encouraging (I know there are other considerations as well). Is anyone aware of an NMSF not getting NMF who actually applied?
Anxiously awaiting the arrival of the mail truck today
@nutmeg_shippy …when does your mail run? lol
@Tgirlfriend it’s very irregular. Sometimes as early as noon and sometimes as late as 4. Usually closer to 2. Hoping it comes before I leave the house at 2:45
Okay. Our school usually gets mail about 1 o’clock. If they get something I will let you know. Fingers and toes crossed!!!
Just got word…S is a FINALIST in Texas!!!
