I got SGR for Viterbi today. Happy, but also nervous now. I dropped a class and got a W but had a 4.0 otherwise for this semester. How do I send in my transcript? It says they sent me mail with instructions but i didnt get it yet
Hey everyone, super late to this thread but applied to USC Viterbi and going crazy waiting to hear back. Have been reading through you alls thread so far and it feels good to know I’m not alone.
got my decision today (viterbi) rejected
The SGR anxiety is real
Got rejected with a 3.8. Good luck y’all
@mrcolo97 That sucks, sorry.
Do you guys know what the purpose behind the math and chem placement tests are? I took it and placed at its highest level (Calc 1), but I’ve already taken Cal 3, Linear, and DEs. Why did I need to take it?
@mrcole92 If you don’t mind sharing, what is your major and are you applying as a junior?
Hi. Does anyone know if CS majors have to take the language placement exam?
You do not if you don’t plan on taking a language for fun, as it’s not required.
Has anybody else not received a decision or a SGR yet?
@CADREAMIN Thanks!
@coscimajor Just something to consider - If you think you could change majors into one that requires a language, that could be a reason to take it coming in, rather than letting more time pass. Then it is done. Otherwise, not needed.
