@aznboi4981 ya maybe it was just my counselor that switched regions
I do actually think it has to do with location. Probably not the acceptances themselves, but the time that we receive the news. Of course people in Cali will receive packages faster than people on the East cost.
so my high school pops up in the directory to find my counselor but my college doesn’t. Is my high school counselor the one I should contact? if not, how do I find my college counselor if my school isn’t popping up on that drop down menu?
Transfer acceptances are not region based like regular decisions which all go at same time. This could be counselor or major based, it is always very random. But location likely means nothing. They seem to be going all over the place - so don’t fret based on your location.
@transfer9692 That’s what I was thinking… What makes me think it is not is the fact that one student from Virginia and one from Maryland were accepted already too.
but their portals updated as well right… so technically if we were in this wave we would’ve heard back by now
I just received my package. I’m from Virginia. Letter is dated April 24th. I’ll be posting my stats soon both here and on the stats page!
for those who were already accepted - did portals update before the package was received?
I just checked both the USC portal & USPS ID.
Nothing.
Boo!
@sunnydramatic congratulations! is your portal updated? and did you apply as a sophomore or junior?
anyone have an idea on the time difference from when they send out decision packages to when the portal is updated? my parents (in norcal) just left for a 3-weeklong trip and did a mail hold, and i’m at college in socal lol…so i’ll have to wait for the portal is my guess
Got my SGR in the mail today. My parents thought it was a decision and they were so happy for me haha I felt bad telling them what it actually was :-<
just curious, for those who got accepted, did the package show up on informed delivery?
@mavsp1 My portal hasn’t updated yet, and I received my package today
@Elena1355 Thank you! My portal hasn’t updated yet. I applied as a junior
Anyone from smc get an acceptance?
Congrats to everyone so far!!!
Seems like only one sophomore got in without an SGR
@Elena1355 Nah there’s been 3-4 on this thread
@laneline hey, im from PA too!
@firelordozaii oh cool! are you a freshman or soph rn?
What is SGR??? And do we get one if we’re accepted?
