tbh to me it doesn’t look like the site is overloaded. It looks more like they deactivated logins.
Just wondering, did everyone get a letter mailed when they first sent in their application. Like to confirm they received the application?

I feel like they’re releasing a new batch of decisions right now? Also, is everyone guaranteed to receive their decisions by May 1st?
Of course I have an exam in like 5 minutes and my heart is racing because idk what this portal being down means lol
@smc2usc Perhaps they are doing some update. I don’t know what happens for everyone else, but for me it just says “ERROR: Please retry CAPTCHA.” If the site was down, I don’t think that we could even access the login page, because it’s basically the same domain. So in comparison, if this thread was down, so would be all of college confidential. At least that’s what I think.

I just cleared my cache etc… and I can still access the page, but get the captcha error message. I have no idea why it’s different for some of us. Also, interestingly if I try to access the page with a VPN, then I just get a “page unavailable” message.
@transferstudent3 What did you want to ask your counselor? If you already got an SGR, you can’t really do anything to avoid sending in your spring grades and waiting for a decision, unfortunately 
And yeah, depending on the counselor, they can be strict with SGRs. I had a 4.0 when I got mine and was taking 21 units that spring semester. I was taking a math course like I mentioned. I got all A’s except for the math course (I got a B). Rejected. I guess I had to get all A’s, lol. But even then, there would have been no guarantee.
I was unable to access myUSC, so I think it’s general USC network silliness? 
So who wants to call in saying they’re trying to upload something but cant access the portal lol
