2018 - 2019 USC Transfer

I hope so too! Because I’ve been emailing my counselor since January 2018 and in the course of 4 months, she replied me only twice…

does anyone know why it takes soo long for annenberg applicants to hear back? i would think a few decisions would be mailed out any day now like marshall and dornsife…is it because they mail them all out at once?

@dwightsbeetfarm I know it takes forever

@dwightsbeetfarm what major did you apply to in Annenberg and what are your stats??

@ivcstudent Hey I go to IVC! LOL and I do know people from IVC who already got her acceptance from USC

Has anyone from OCC been accepted?

does anyone that has gotten a decision so far have Hillary Higgins as a counselor?

@ericbadmon @fluffybunny14 yes 64 units gives you junior status at USC

@schrutedollas The calculator was spot-on for me. It should give you a good idea what to expect. I think there was a slight tuition hike during the time I was at USC, but my financial aid was adjusted accordingly. The calculator should basically tell you what you’re expect to pay

@zettasyntax sounds good, thanks!

Hey guys, since I’m an SCA major, is a 3.63 GPA still good?

Congrats to everyone who got in!

For those of you who are still waiting, the next big wave is coming on the first week of May. Towards the end of that week, more of you will definitely hear back! Best of luck!

@Boson12 I’m thinking the same! Do you think we’ll hear via the portal first or Informed Delivery? Because people were getting their decisions through the portal first on Friday.

Has anyone heard back from Marshall?

@needtotransfer4 Yeah, check out the transfer decisions thread  There’s probably been more Marshall acceptances/SGRs and stuff, but not everyone posts in the decision thread for some reason :stuck_out_tongue:

@collegestas yes! I have her but I’m an Annenberg applicant, so I haven’t heard back yet. A few of my friends who have her also, (they’re poli sci and marshall majors) have heard back.

200 pages and it’s not even May yet. Jesus.

@uscplease777
I’m a junior applicant
CCC: Santa Monica College
Major: Communication (first choice), Sociology (second choice)
GPA: 3.86
TTP: no
I’m completing my last core GE req this semester. I just need to complete one of the global perspectives, which i plan on double counting as one of the 2 req GE courses I have to take at usc.

@ivcstudent LOL message me and we’ll talk!

Hey guys, so I have been stalking this page for a while now ( still waiting to hear anything abut my boyfriend’s major) and I figured it is time to comment on because I received my acceptance letter on Friday.

Stats:
College transferring from: Ventura College (CCC)
Trojan Transfer Plan (TTP): no
Major: Biochemistry
Entering as: Sophomore
GPA: 4.0
Units completed: 40 semester plus 16 quarter from UC Davis
Units in progress: 13
Pre-reqs completed: … I did not think there were pre-reqs?
GEs completed: all (mostly filled by AP credit fro high school)

Subjective:
ECs listed on app: 3 different forms of community service
Job/Work Experience: Worked as a Senior Care Provider as well as currently working as a tutor for two of the local high schools
Essays (subject and responses): Honestly rushed through these. For the first one I talked about wanting to get my masters degree from a renowned university to become a teacher or veterinarian. The second one I talked about the possible internship opportunities as well as the diversity of Los Angeles and USC.
Letters of Recommendation: None
Others schools applied to: Cal Poly SLO (Accepted as animal science major)

Also, I have a question for anyone who has been accepted already, does your financial aid say you still need to turn in the CSS application? Both my boyfriend and I turned it in over a month ago and although I am accepted it still has not been cleared.
