My fellow SCA applicants! What did you guys apply as/what are your stats?
Hey guys! For anyone who turned in the CSS profile, does it say it is still missing? I turned mine in over a month ago and it still says I need to turn it in when I have a receipt for it being delivered and everything.
@colie56789 Mine shows that it’s been received.
@anna717 Bria Bourgeois, I have yet to see another applicant on here that also has her
@yvevy98 Same here. See no one with my counselor!
@yvevy98 I actually have her! Just gave me a winter grade request yesterday.
Annenberg applicant here who hasn’t heard anything back yet either. From last years thread it seems Annenberg hears late may, but don’t quote me on that. My counselor is Nicole Molina ( if you have her too and hear back ,tell me!) is anyone here applying from Fullerton College too? The community college
@jasmal Oh did you get that through portal, under application status? If you don’t mind me asking, are you a sophomore or junior applicant and for what major?
@StipendAwarded Your freshman application will not be taken into account. They also review each application holistically.
@yvevy98 Yeah, I saw it under ‘submit documents’ yesterday asking for transcripts around noon, and this morning they updated my status page with the actual request for winter grades.
I’m a junior applicant for political science.
@darkhound173 Someone was rejected at Marshall. The fact that you’ve heard nothing is a good sign.
@typicalmango I applied as a Film and Television Production major.
@anna717 yes I applied to Santa Clara, but I do not really care to go them. I am a freshman at saddleback so if I do not get in I figure I will do another year at cc and apply to a bunch of other schools! What about you?

@colie56789
That means the system did not automatically put it in and they would have to manually put it in. I would email them just to make sure though.
@CC2USC that makes sense! You still have so much time! I would be entering as a junior and during my time at Saddleback I’ve applied to many schools, lost count, because I didn’t know exactly where I wanted to go. Last year I decided to focus my everything on usc and just apply to cal states(which I hadn’t done) so I got into all of them and committed to SDSU because I had a feeling I wouldn’t hear by May 1st(which ironically is today lol) so if anything happens I will have SDSU. But I really don’t even want to attend SDSU, I want to be at usc so badly
Hi Guys, I’ve been following along with this thread for quite some time. I got my USC acceptance today, but there’s one thing I’m concerned about. I did drop a class this semester because I got a new professor mid-semester and it just wasn’t working out. But when I contacted my USC admissions counselor she basically said I needed to write a letter explaining why I dropped the course. I guess there’s a chance they might rescind my admission offer. Has anyone heard of this happening???
I cannot answer your question, but congrats on the acceptance! Can we hear your stats/your counselor? Thanks!
I was admitted for fall 2018, majoring in Real Estate Development (Sol Price School of Public Policy). I’m a freshman at a community college, achieving a 4.0 my first semester. I took 17 units last semester: Intro to accounting, Art Appreciation, English, College Algebra, and Macroeconomics. I was taking 6 classes (17 units) this spring semester until I dropped a course (Philosophy) two weeks ago. I’m currently taking: English, Microeconomics, Biological Anthropology, Anthropology Lab, and History.
@allysran Very good! Where are you from if you do not mind me asking?
