I checked early and I was pretty much right! I got a 5 on APUSH, 5 on AP Lang, and a 4 on Music Theory (3 aural subscore and 5 non aural). I’m really content with these scores
As I expected, I got a 4 on AP Macro.
I wish my school offered more AP classes. But even then the AP classes themselves have very bad teachers and most of us fail anyways…sigh…I guess I’ll just pay for those classes in college :’)
AP Chemistry - 5
AP Stat - 5
AP Bio - 4
AP Comp Gov - 3
AP English Lang - 4
AP Human Geo - 5
AP US Gov - 4
Kind of disappointed but surprised. I don’t know how I managed to get a 4 on AP Bio yet a 3 on AP Comp Gov… Like I ended up with a B- in AP Bio and I didn’t even study for the AP test, yet I felt really confident about AP Comp Gov. AP Lang also isn’t that bad, but English is my strongest subject. Oh well.
Also, for every AP class I took, it was the teacher’s first time teaching an AP class (I’m not joking).
For my first time ever taking AP exams, I did well.
AP English Lang : 4
AP Spanish Lang : 3
AP Government : 3
AP Physics 1 : 1 lol
English was easy, Spanish was easy (and I’m a native speaker, yet I barely passed), I could care less about government, and Physics was difficult for me.
calc ab - 2 LOL
apush - 5
seminar - 5
lit - 3
I thought calc and lit would be opposite. I thought I did pretty good on calc, decent enough to get a 3. I’m surprised I got a 3 on lit considering I was lost on all 3 essays.
Calc BC - 5
APUSH - 5
CS - 5
Chem - 5
first time taking APs and I didn’t care how close I cut it as long as I get 5 lol
AP Chem-5, not a surprise.
Hello. I took General Calculus and General College Chem at community college. I also took their equivalent AP exams upon insistence (Calc AB and Chem). I have gotten 3’s in both of my exams while I got A’s in my college classes. How will colleges view this?
usasafia - who insisted that you take the AP Calc AB and Gen Chem exams?
CSP - 5
Euro - 5
I literally have no idea how I got a 5 on Euro. I guessed on majority of MC and BSed the SAQs and DBQ. I guess the curve was pretty generous this year.
CSP was easy, so a 5 was expected.
Very happy with my results, and I hope I can get all 5s next year (Physics 1, Physics 2, Lang, CSA, Chinese).
Ok, I did pretty well. I’m happy!
AP Calc BC: 5
AP Macroecon: 5
AP Psych: 4
@flmom26 My parents and my school counselors from my home high school. I am a Middle College student and my college counselors said that it wasn’t exactly necessary. Some colleges during visits said that actual credit is better; others would like seeing AP scores alongside my college credit.
Mostly plan to apply OOS and I’m worried about how my low AP scores will impact admissions
AP US Government: 5
Wasn’t expecting that because of the curve!! But I’m really happy anyways:)
AP Calc AB: 3 - kinda bummed out
APUSH: 3 - I was expecting lower
AP Eng Lang: 4 - really wanted a five
AP Span Lang: 5 - native speaker
My son got his scores by creating a vpn on the east coast.
Apush 3 - surprise as he is history buff
Ap lang 5 - he thought it would be a 4
Ap bc calc 5 expected
Ap chem 5 expected
Ap physics II 5 expected
AP CALC BC: 5
AP ENGLISH LIT: 4
AP SPANISH LANG: 4 (non native speaker)
AP PHYSICS C: MECH: 5
AP PHYSICS C E&M: 5
AP US GOV: 4
@usasafia- I’m guessing that your parents and guidance counselor figured that since you took Gen Chem dual enrollment, you could take the AP Chem exam and see what you scored on it. If you were happy with your score, you could choose to report it and if were unhappy with the score you don’t have to report it. It’s not like there’s an AP Chem class on your transcript that you’re failing to provide the score for.
Out of curiosity, what material on the AP Chem test did you feel under prepared for?
Ok so I checked my scores today, and was pleasantly surprised! Ended up getting 5s on European History, Psych, US Govt, Human Geography, and English Language, and took a 4 on Environmental Science. YAY!
