<p>I know that Wash U does not officially release their early decision acceptance states (Except for how many students they accepted), but does anyone have an idea of what the ED acceptance rate was? Is it more than the overall 17.9% acceptance rate? </p>
<p>Yes, it’s usually greater than the overall acceptance rate. One has the best chance of getting in ED.</p>
<p>I believe I was told this year it hovered around 25% ED. Usually the ED rate is between 25-29% for Washington University in St. Louis.</p>
<p>Admissions rep who came to my school said roughly double that of RD. So about 35-36%</p>

<p>I am not a washu student, but my best friend is in an intern in admissions. He said around 30%. </p>
