2018 Fly-In Programs

Anybody else applying to fly-in programs this year?

I’ve applied to DIVE (Washington and Lee University), Explore Bowdoin (Bowdoin College), Discover Scripps (Scripps College), Windows on Williams (Williams College), and Discover Swarthmore (Swarthmore College). I’m definitely going to apply to Perspectives on Pomona (Pomona College) and I’m thinking about applying to CORE (Emory University), DIVOH (Amherst College), and Hamilton College’s Diversity Overnight Fly-In Program. I’m a QuestBridge College Prep Scholar and I’m going to apply for the National College Match, so I’d really like to get to visit some QuestBridge partner schools.

I got into a fly in program at Smith, and I’m applying for programs at Grinnell and Scripps. Congrats on Questbridge, I have a friend who got in too.

I’ve applied to CORE at Emory (I created a discussion board for it!), DIVOH at Amherst, SOAR at Rice, Access Davidson, PEEP at the University of Pennsylvania, and also filled out the Getting to Know You form for Washington University in St. Louis (WashU Preview). Congrats on Questbridge!

I did—rejected. I’m not bummed about it, though, since after further research I have no intention of applying to W&L.

I started a group chat with other students on this site who have applied to a bunch of fly-ins and are waiting to hear back. Just PM me if you also applied to 2-3 programs (if we’re being honest it’s more likely 8-9 haha) and you want to join the convo :slight_smile:
