Thayer Academy now has an online portal with decisions posted at 9 am on M10!

Groton - decisions available on portal at 8 a.m

Are you sure Grptpn is at 6 PM, seems a little late…

This is from last year…so, there may be some changes, but Yes, Groton was at 6 pm ET last year…and Andover was at 5…trust me, I remember the pain waiting for them to be released driving over 300 miles to Dallas for hockey, as well as the pain of the rest of the trip after we got the answers…

I will modify if you notify me you’ve received other information directly from a school. Just let me know!!! @SkysTheLimit2007 I will try to change Thayer tonight…

@FunintheSun1211 Yes…Groton is at 6 PM ET on the dot. 18:00:00 :)>-

Got an email from Andover that said 9am…
Is this referring to the email/letters or the decisions?

Kimball Union had sent out an email that said that their decisions would be sent out via email at 6:00 p.m. on March 9th, instead of March 10th as it states on the list.

Berkshire will announce decisions on M10 “early in the morning” in their admissions portal, per an earlier email.

Wow, Groton is late. I would have thought most schools notified as early as possible

@FunintheSun1211 at least it’s not as bad as Thacher, their decisions are released at 4 p.m. PST, that’s basically saying 7:00 p.m. EST for where I live, making it excruciatingly agonizing for those who have chosen to apply there.

I am told that in the olden days before the magma cooled and while dinosaurs roamed the earth, applicants had to wait by a thing called a mailbox until a person dressed in blue walked up at an unspecified date and time with an envelope with the decision. Perspective (and patience) please.

Ha! Do those blue clad men #1 wear blue anymore? And #2 actually go drop off mail at a house? I don’t know of any homes in our town that have their own mailbox…we have to go to the end of the street with a little key in hand. And god forbid you lose said miniature key!!!

So has every PA applicant signed up to get those emailed early FedEX delivery notifications? Or does that just jinx your chances? :stuck_out_tongue:

I need to quote @SevenDad (with whom I agree) on this topic:

Aside from serving only to increasing anxiety, one risks a false positive.

I agree with @SevenDad too, @skieurope. Luckily DD and I will be in Europe on M10- no time to fool around with courier notifications! The food and castles alone should provide enough of a distraction as we wait out the decisions in that time zone :slight_smile: I’ll feed her anxiety with pain au chocolat and crepes au nutella et banane! Espresso, for me.

Hun School comes out at 6am on M10

@sriracha10 is that email or portal?
