For Kent State next year will be the 50th anniversary of the May 4th National Guard shooting. As such, they focused their season selections on social justice, advocacy, protest, equal rights, etc. as a primary consideration.

plus their usual dance ensembles. Blackbox season hasn’t been finalized but likely will also have a social justice focus.
