@Trojan4u1001 I think this is the TTP wave. If I remembered correctly last year TTP got to know first.
@Trojan4u1001, I just got a SGR request, and I’m not on TTP (Junior Applicant).
@Trojan4u1001 I also got an SGR on TTP. Applying for Viterbi with 26 units complete (I did summer semester) 3.73 GPA last semester (3.65 cumulative) with all pre reqs done for my major. I feel your pain, this process is super stressful and frustrating.
Thank you guys for your clarification!
Omg. Just got so scared. If I get SGRed again I am going to crap myself…junior transfer nonTTP. The reason I say that is because that happened to me last year and I had to wait til mid July for my rejection. Let’s just say I was a hot mess then lol.
I didn’t get a SGR. Rip me, probably got rejected. (Non TTP sophomore applicant)
No worries @GotYa55 decisions are on a rolling basis from end of march to may 31st.
The green color isn’t working for me on the stats forum. Idk how to do this. I copied and pasted what you said in my post but it didn’t show the color lol
It seems like it was all TTP applicants or non-TTP SGRs that were sent out today. Haven’t seen anyone mention being non-TTP and getting a decision yet. I am a non-TTP junior applicant and did not get an SGR. I don’t want to get one anyway since I can’t wait until June to find out I just want to get a straight decision lol.
@GotYa55 I haven’t seen any non-TTP sophomores be accepted or SGRd yet so I think you’re ok. I’m right there with you
Does anyone know if SGR happen all on one day? Or will it be a rolling process as well. I don’t think sophomore who don’t receive a SGR is in a good position but I may be wrong lol.
^^^ Rolling Process for SGR as well
I thought not getting SGR is better than getting it … I hope I don’t get it
@PokeBear Is it? It’s just that I was going through last years thread and most people who got in as Sophomore transfers had SGR? It was pretty rare to see a sophomore get accepted with just fall semester grades.
Hi guys, non-ttp sophomore transfer here! Been following this for a while now and I’d hate to be repetitive, but does anyone have any input regarding SGRs? I did not receive one and was wondering how I should interpret that. I completely understand that I can still receive one later and that it’s possible they haven’t looked at my app yet. I earned a 3.8 (1 B in General Chemistry) first semester at a ranked 4-year institution and am set to earn a better GPA this semester knock on wood (~49 credits completed including incoming credit after this semester). Any guidance helps and I wish you all the best!!
@DDHH2017 Hope we both get in bro!
Just got SGR and I’m TTP as well pretty nervous and scared got 3.94 S1 at a state university and I’m transferring to be a sophomore at USC , now I gotta wait for my spring semester to end and then wait for their decision
@sophtransfer I too am at a good 4-year with a 4.0. I did not get an SGR. Your gpa is great, and above the average, so I wouldn’t worry
im a non-ttp soph transfer, and i didnt receive a SGR. im wondering if receiving a SGR is an indication of interest? or if not receiving a SGR may be a sign of a strong application that needs no further addition?
TTPs started hearing earlier this week and have been pretty consistently rolling out. Didn’t want to confirm that earlier because I know it freaks out everyone that isn’t accepted…But when mentioned earlier in the thread, it was accurate, they were rolling out.
If accepted, please post:
Accepted
TTP yes/no
Major or school
This info really helps other waiting…thanks and for all accepted so far, welcome to the Trojan Family!!!
