Thanks @kuchencake the most exciting thing is that I got a 50k$ aid! @minshu411 I didn’t submit SAT. But I have gone for a lot of competitions and wrote an excellent essay! I think that helped!
Hey all deferred students don’t loose hope. I think we all will do amazing things in the future regardless of where we go to college. You all are amazing students so continue what you’re doing. @minshu411 I didn’t submit any test scores, but I had a strong GPA and a high class rank. Also, I am really involved in my community which helped since Bates is big on community service.
@jesuismari I know it’s hard to wait after coming from another wait. I advice you to be patient ; you can still get into Bates if you really want to go there. Keep yourself busy and do other things. I believe you have a great future ahead!

I would bet Granitehead is addressing Foreverafreshie, a softball recruit. The Bates softball coach will be going into her second season at Bates this spring.
Hey, does anyone know if the ID and Pin Number that we used for EDII will be the same as the ones we use to check our RD status? (For those who got deferred)
@kuchencake I think so, yes. They give one ID and Pin Number per student, so it is unlikely they’ll change it during rounds. Log in to your portal and if you can still check your applicant status, then you’re probably good to go.
Has anyone had any information about the decision date?

I have Mar 22 on my calendar but I don’t remember where I got that info!
@redpoodles That was last year’s release date. Maybe that’s why you have it.
So maybe it will be tomorrow, March 21? March 22, 2014 was a Saturday… Crossing fingers!
