2019 Cleveland Clinic Internship

Hey Hopeful Internship Applicants,
I was wondering if anyone has received their interview email? Last year they sent it on March 17th, so when that did not happen I figured they would send it a week later, which would be this Saturday ( and I think they would have sent it by 12:00am because that’s the time they did it year). Now I realize the website says “By the end of March” but hearing from you guys would put my mind at ease. PLEASE let me know if you have or have not gotten yours. Thank you!!!

Just as an update for you all, I did receive interview my email. Hopefully we will all hear good things by the end of April!

Quick question for those who are viewing this thread: Did you guys receive the list of people who are only interviewing on your day, or did you see the list of all the people interviewing for your track? For example, if I was interviewing on the 29th, then I only saw the people interviewing on the 29th. I was just curious because I have a very small list of people, but I was not sure if those are all the people who applied for my track or if those are just the people interviewing that day. Any knowledge would be greatly appreciated!

Hey, I was just wondering which track did you apply for because I have not received an email yet.

@college15678 I applied for the Respiratory Care track. I would not worry if you haven’t received your email yet because they only emailed me two days before my interview, so maybe they are sending them out in groups. It also seems that they are only interviewing in small pools of people. For example, their were only 4 people from my track who interviewed today, but I know their are probably others who will be interviewed on a later date.

Hey thanks! I applied to the applied medicine track so we will see. Also do you know how the interview process works and how many people make it after that? Its my first year so i have no clue. Thanks

@college1567 It seems like they are doing things a little differently this year, but last year the majority of applicants made it to the interviews. As for how many people make it after that, it really depends on which track you apply to. Applied medicine is fairly popular from what I have heard, so I’m guessing it is one of the more competitive ones. I would be happy to answer anymore questions. I’m crossing my fingers for you!

Hey thanks for the reply. As far as the interview goes, how long is it and is the physical examination done the same day?

@college15678 The interview takes about 30 minutes (although it is always a good sign if you go over). The physical examination takes place on a different day once you have been officially accepted into the program.

Oh ok thanks. And is the interview regular interview questions?

@college15678 Yeah just your basic interview questions. I think it is extremely helpful to communicate your interest/passion for the track you chose (so just don’t be general about it). I was scared they were going to ask me complex anatomy related questions last year, but they didn’t (hopefully that puts your mind at ease).

Yes, thank you so much for all your help! Wish you the best of luck.

Yeah no problem. Good luck!

Does anyone know if their teacher/counselor has received their recommendation email yet? Also, does anyone know when the recommendations have to be completed by?

Did anyone receive an email from Biljana Petrovic stating that you were accepted into the program? This may just be me being skeptical, but it seems odd they would send acceptance letters out this early because my teachers have not received the link to the recommendation form yet.
