Did “your counselor” information on your application status page disappear? No more counselor = not an accepted student?
Mine is still there
Did you press minimize by mistake?
Who knows if it means anything. However, after reading over posts on numerous threads regarding a good number of schools for the past month or so, I have learned that there are a number of changes that are made in your application “account” pages anywhere from 10 days to the day before official decision is released. Based on the changes (or lack of change) I noticed in my pages, I have correctly predicted my acceptances and denial ( and this looks like it could be another denial) for 8 schools. In any case, good luck to all! I hope it means nothing, but . . .
No. It just reads “undefined.” And the picture of the counselor who had been assigned is no longer there - just an “x”.
@tnuconncc wow how could you CORRECTLY predict such decisions? o_o i mean what can they change in your account page? aren’t them the same to all applicants?
who knows if your change mean an acceptance?
Not too difficult, really. Things/changes I noticed: the addition of a university email address in bio, where there was none prior; addition of scholarship links (though there was no information at the time, just a new link) that had not been there before; an “accept scholarship” sub-link under a financial aid link. The sub link appeared a week or so before decision came out; addition of housing links, or changes (payment/choice) to housing links; pay deposit links under financial selections; etc. I am obsessive. I searched every day. I noticed the changes. Not saying every school does this, but the clues were obvious. One school had no changes in my student center page from application date until day before decision; I expected a denial and received just that.
@tnuconncc well but you said your counselor disappear => actually a change => not denial just keep hoping
Haha…thanks! But I am reading: Counselor info disappeared; Counselor info disappeared because I have no need for a counselor; I have no need for a counselor because I am not an admitted student. Just my guess (pessimistic though it may be)! I’ve guessed right so far…haha. Oh well, last school I’m waiting for. I guess I won’t be too crushed. Good luck to you!
Mine was there all night and just disappeared. Any else?
@tnuconncc well but then some portals are simple and minimalistic so i guess they just don’t bother updating. it’s not like it’s an omen
my counselor was up all day and then changed to “servlet failed to render” does this mean denial or just updating portal ?
So I just checked my status page and my counselor info is gone as well. However, I have a Bucknell ID Number (guessing so does everyone else) and an email when I log into Bucknell Moddle. Can everyone else log into that portal as well?
@laxbrutaft what do you mean? i don’t get it.
On the left bottom side it says Bucknell ID number. I was just playing around with the Bucknell website and decided to log into the Moddle Bucknell page with my credentials and could. On that page, my Email for Bucknell was listed. http://moodle.bucknell.edu Perhaps everyone else can log in as well?
@laxbrutaft oh got it. I could log in as well, but im doubt it means anything. However I thought moodle would just for internal use…
Yea I def thought so as well. It might not mean anything ha will def be checking the decision tomorrow cause there’s really no point on my end at least to speculate. Was just bored I guess.
I can get on moodle, too, with my Bucknell ID. Fingers crossed it’s a good sign.
I think it’s just because the same log in is tied into the MyBucknell system for the applicant checklist, though.
