2019 Decision: Decision clue on your status page?

I’ve had the Bucknell ID number for a long time; possibly shortly after I received the email from Bucknell telling me to set up/log in to the application page/student account. I hit your Moodle link, and was already logged in; I guess because I was already logged in to the status page. Also, from Moodle I found a link that brought me to the application status page, but was not able to do that in reverse. So, I don’t know what any of this might mean? Guess we will find out very soon enough. Good luck!

…but if you found a @bucknell email assigned to you on Moodle, I would think that is a very good sign. I had one pop up for me at UConn a week or so prior to decision, and I was admitted. Who knows?!

@tnuconncc Did u find an email on noodle?

Yea the email is at the bottom it’s nothing more than my username@bucknell.edu

I did. But I don’t know if that has always been there. As I mentioned before, it’s possible I had the Bucknell ID number very early on. Seemingly too early for Bucknell to have reviewed my file and then accept me. So if the ID number was assigned as a matter of course for all applicants, I am guessing that the Bucknell email might have been too. The Bucknell email did not include my name, just the ID name the school sent me. UConn’s email included my name, and I know that email link was not in my bio until a week or so before UConn released admissions decisions. So I don’t know what Bucknell’s email/ID info might mean. If it always has been there, then of course it would not be a “change” on which I could base a guess on an impending admission decision. Anyway, anxiety breeds speculation! Fun just the same. Haha.

so the decision is out tomorrow? geez i’m so not ready for another rejection

I understand the decisions are released tonight at midnight. Perhaps the disappearing counselor box will just be replaced by the decision when it is posted.

I don’t know. I am guessing the decisions will be posted under “personal announcements.” If decisions were to be posted where the counselor info is/was, then why do others still have their counselor info there? Overthinking it, I know. But what else is there to do while waiting. Just having fun speculating. Found the change very odd, that’s all.

They could be working on these in batches. If it had nothing to do with the decision, why would they be removing it at all, or at least until after decisions are released? My older S was accepted to Bucknell two years ago, but frankly I can’t remember how the portal changed. Not worth worrying about - the decision will be what it is.

Haha…I agree: why would they remove it if it had nothing to do with the decision…and there is no sense worrying. God luck to you . . . I hope the family connection helps you!

It won’t - that S went to Lehigh!

Oh no … well then I hope they don’t hold it AGAINST you . . . lol!

My admissions counselor was up all day yesterday and today but just now says to “undefined”… Is this happening to anyone else? Any clue what it means? I’m really psyching myself out haha

i honestly think they are just either preparing to upload decisions or there is a glitch in the portal. I dont think that it has anything to do with decisions

Now my counselor is back! It makes me think that the portal is just being glitchy because of the amount of decisions currently being uploaded/lots of people logging on.

Decisions are not posted where the counselors are or under personal announcements. A line is added at the top of the Applicant Checklist on left side that says something like “View decision letter”, at least that’s how it was done for ED. If you’re accepted, maybe it automatically shows a “You’re In” on the MyBucknell home page.

The "counselor’s ghoooost " said [-X … 8-X. Haha…good luck to all who got in. =D>

@tnuconncc I’m sorry to hear you didn’t get in. I hope you have other great choices.
