Discussion of the 2019 exam;
I expect a low cutoff - several challenging conceptual problems.
On 2019 A, at least.
Really hoping for a low cutoff, don’t think I did too well : (
This test was quite conceptual - problems required significant thought, although I believe I scored well. This was the first test which actually took the full 75 minutes for me.
I did worse than I usually do on past tests and used up all of the time. I think the cutoff will be 15-16 though, not too low but not too high either.
I took the 2019 A btw.
Are you sure 15-16? This test seemed more difficult than 2018. Maybe 13-14 ish?
B was definitely easier, however.
How do you think you scored? I think 19+ for me.
I’m going to wait until Monday to discuss actually since I don’t want to get into trouble with test security and stuff lol
when will we get our test packet back and when will answers be posted?
3rd week of February, I believe. How do you think you scored, cindersnow?
I’m receiving so many different answers from online forums and friends to each question i don’t even know how i did anymore. What did you guys get for moment of inertia of a disk that had the center part removed and then sliced in half? (5/2 hopefully?). Also what did you guys get for the question that asked how far up the block would go once it shot off the vertical edge of a wedge or something (#3 on A)?
I probably got 16 this time. rip. I usually get 19. Hopefully this is enough.

Oh, since the AoPS discussion opened I assumed that it would be alright. Thanks for telling me
