I am surprised that Penn State univ is on that list. I think all campuses is centralized

I’m also shocked about PSU - all the trouble they had with EA and the Common App , kids not hearing back well passed expected dates - interesting.
I just sent an email to research@nacacnet.org asking them to add a ‘download to excel’ option.
Penn State is open mostly for branch campuses, not main campus (University Park). UP had 100,000 applications this year and is pretty much full (may be exceptions for a few less popular majors).
407 schools, of all kinds-big, small, urban, rural, public, private- lots of good options for those looking!

This may be a ploy on Penn State’s part to get more application fees and to try to get people to consider branch campuses, which are chronically under-enrolled. Saying financial aid is available is a joke, as Penn State notoriously gives very little institutional aid.
@kidzncatz spoke to Penn State yes UP is almost full and chances of getting in are slim…
^^^Really surprised UP is not full, regardless of how few openings there are. Making it to the NACAC list means there is no waitlist for the schools/campuses/majors that have openings.
Seems to me like this would be a good list for parents of rising seniors to look through to research safety schools.
Question about this list: if our kid is going to one of these schools, should we be concerned about viability?
