Yep, they did. Premier Scholar is totally new this year I am 99% sure. How nice for you!! Otherwise the amounts below your award appear to be the same as last year. So that is almost 50% off the total cost of attendance “sticker price”. Definitely a huge benefit for a great private school like Tulane.

Got acceptance letter yesterday! Presidential scholar (32K/yr and honors program)

35 ACT
4.38 overall (9-12) GPA
A+ Extracurriculars

@outtocollege2015

No surprise with those stats! Wonderful. I hope you are applying for the DHS and Paul Tulane full scholarships.

Still haven’t heard anything…

Has anyone from NYC heard yet?

We live in Mass. Daughter received notice of acceptance by email. She didn’t say anything about Merit aid. Does anybody know if merit is only announced with letter?

By e-mail? Are you sure? Tulane never does that. Perhaps you mean via her Gibson account.

In any case, merit awards and invitation to the Honors Program is, indeed, only done via print mail.

Thanks fc. I guess that’s what I meant. I am not knowledgable about the process.

Congratulations to those receiving admission decisions and scholarships! D’s decision is being held up because the Secondary School Report is still showing as not having been received. D’s GC has been asked to send it again, but I hope this won’t hurt her in terms of eligibility for merit…

It won’t hurt her in the least. Merit scholarships are given to RD students as well, including into late March decisions. So at this point there is absolutely no penalty or bias or disadvantage compared to those that have already gotten decisions.

Looks like a lot of the quick admissions decisions tend to be for people with above avg stats for tulane. Hoping to hear soon! Any SCEA decisions yet?

If I saw my status change to accepted on Friday when should I get my letter and aid offer?

7-10 business days is usually the longest it takes.

Any day now! Thanks

If it isn’t at your house by the end of next week, I would ask admissions to resend it.
