Wh what are your stats? @npcarney

@npcarney You should get in under TopKnights (top 10% of class), right? Good luck on the ACT.

@npcarney i got into USF too found out probably two days ago. I’m waiting on UCF now to make my decision praying I get in. I think they evaluate your application with what you have and if your SAT is good enough already to admit you they’ll go ahead and do it. I heard it takes about five days to around ten for them to make a decision. You’ll hear soon!

@Reebtoor Yes, I’m in the top 10, is it automatic admission? and thanks!

@npcarney If you read the link I included, you’ll see the requirements for “Top 10 Knights.” I’m cut-and-pasting:
To qualify, you must meet all of the requirements below.

You must currently attend a Florida high school.
You must have a numerical rank in the top 10% of your senior class. Your official transcript must show your student rank number and the total number of students in your class. If your school does not rank, or provides a percentile rank only, a minimum GPA of 3.9 (based on UCF’s recalculated academic core GPA) is required to qualify.
You must earn a minimum score of 1090 (Evidence-based Reading and Writing + Math) on the rSAT (tests administered March 2016 and beyond) or ACT score of 21.
You must submit a completed application and provide all required documentation to the UCF Office of Undergraduate Admissions by January 15.
You must have successfully completed at least 4 units of approved academic core math by the end of your senior year.

Admission to UCF is guaranteed by meeting ALL of the above-mentioned requirements. Admission is not guaranteed to a specific semester, but will be granted to one of our three term options: Summer, Fall or Spring.

@summerknight8 so the average SAT is 1320 and the average ACT is 28.2. The average GPA is 4.08. Personally, I do think that you need to raise your ACT score by a lot since both your GPA and ACT is below average.

If anything, I think you’ll have a better chance of getting accepted in the summer term. The summer term has a lower average of ACT and GPA, but I can’t find the exact numbers.

If I recall correctly, even though you applied for the fall term, UCF could decide to accept you to the summer term.

Also, does UCF know that you’re retaking the ACT in October 27th? If UCF comes across your application before they received your ACT score, they might just make a decision for you using your score of 23. You can call or email them and let them know you have another score on the way.
