Let us know as you hear from more schools and I’ll add them to the list. Thanks!
Why keep a list here at CC? Most deadlines have not changed from what they usually are. Students should be using the college’s website for this information.
Maybe note that if you’re sending an arts supplement to Stanford, the deadline is for application is October 15! This is something I recently found out, so maybe another student would also benefit from this clarification
Harvard, Princeton, Yale & Stanford all offer SCEA (Single Choice Early Action), although Princeton will not offer any early option this year.
I think of REA as a slightly different twist, and confess that I have lost track of the distinctions among Georgetown, Notre Dame, and whatever BC used to offer. I believe that student used to be able to apply to all three as REA apps, whereas that would not be the case with SCEA at HYPS.
Also, I was looking into certain high value named merit scholarships, and I found out that the one at UNC has (had) a deadline of October 1st, AND you had to be recommended by your school, AND only certain schools were eligible/registered/vetted to be “referring” schools. Wow. They do take “referrals” from the early action pool, whose application deadline is October 15th, too. But it really seemed that you have to be well-connected to even know about these scholarships, let alone to be able to jump through all the hoops early enough to apply for them.
It is very nice to have in one place! Would it not be better to differentiate between EA vs REA/SCEA?
My understanding is that you can apply EA to as many as you want but not so with REA/SCEA. If I am correct then it would be much more informative I think.
