The “Notre Dame Mobile” app on iOS just got an update on 3/14/16 (today). Again, probably reading too much into it.
What is ND Mobile for?
@XoXdreamerXoX it is a campus app that you can check campus news and map and stuff.
@XoXdreamerXoX To be quite honest, I’m not entirely sure. I downloaded it when I visited campus because it had a map that I could use, but I think it’s mainly intended for current students.
@IvyHopeful98 you’re for sure reading too much into it…A mobile app update is just for software to run better on your phone… not for an admissions update lol
@njclass2016 I just wasn’t sure if they were getting the app ready to show new admissions data or other relevant information. In the update log, they do mention “Support for upcoming features”, which for all I know could be access to the portal via the app. But since the app hadn’t been updated in over 1.5 years before todays update, I figured it was worth a shot haha.
@IvyHopeful98 I like the way you think. Don’t let anyone kill your vibe. I bet you are correct, they are preparing it so when YOU get your acceptance, you can stay updated.
Honestly I bet their decisions are made already and they’re just waiting to send out. If we don’t find out Friday the suspense will kill me

(I sent them some really crappy subject test scores after my LL, and I really hope that doesn’t end up causing me to get it rescinded, or whatever they do to LLs)
@biggiek Well from your lips to God’s ears. I don’t know about me getting accepted, but I’m also lacking in confidence right now haha. My bringing up the app update was mostly a shot in the dark, but hey, who knows. Best of luck to you man!
@Taylor_16 There’s no doubt in my mind that they’ve already made their decisions, assuming that decisions are released this week. They are most likely just trying to prepare the servers for the 18,000 students who will be trying to access their decisions at the same time, and sorting out other potential technical problems. This is the first time they have used a portal for Regular Decision, so I’m sure they want to do everything they can to ensure it goes as smoothly as possible.
@XoXdreamerXoX I don’t think a bad subject test score will hurt you, especially after getting the LL. I think you can relax knowing you’ve got a great shot at ND.

I really hope they don’t reject me. (Seems kind of bad because of the fact that I got a LL) I’m going to visit this weekend on Spring Vis and I don’t want to open a rejection during/before it if decisions are online.

When I think about getting decisions my whole body shakes so badly and I want to throw up… I can’t breath…
