@Elegie17 , I have you down for Mannes and Jacobs this coming week but I think that’s an error. Is it supposed to be March for those two?
We heard from Carnegie Mellon today via email. My daughter passed the prescreens so now we are just waiting for her audition date which they stated will be sent two weeks prior to her audition.
We also heard from Carnegie Mellon- regional audition in LA on February 7th
Just also heard from Blair- Feb 7th -8th
Talented group this year! Glad to hear you can all put your fears about bombing the prescreens to rest. ?
We also heard from Eastman via email today. My daughter’s audition is confirmed for 1/31.
Not sure how to handle the conflict on 2/7. We may have to go to Vandy late.
One more update. Rice/Shepherd audition confirmed for 1/18.
@coloraturagirl I think 2/3 is for sample lessons and 2/8 is the audition. You should be able to email the admissions. We will be there as well on 2/7 and 2/8.
Same for my daughter re: Carnegie Mellon. She passed the prescreen, and we’re waiting on the audition date. Such a relief to have the results, even if I’m still waiting to buy a plane ticket.
@Doransa- thank you. I have requested an early time for CMU in LA on 2/7 and hopefully we’ll get it. We will have to miss the fun at Vandy on 2/7 and arrive later in the day, but it’s the only way to make it work. UCLA auditions and Eastman/NEC conflict with the other Vanderbilt dates. Look forward to seeing you there ?
