Rejected
Accepted - So happy!
Congratulations!
Good luck to others!
Waitlisted RIP
Got rejected. Although it was a very nice rejection letter.
@ADP2322 Caltech typically waitlists a little over 600 students, and typically around 450 students accept a position on the waitlist. I too was waitlisted and I do not have high hopes since last year, 0 students were accepted off the waitlist, but tbh, I am just happy that I was waitlisted in the first place.
Actually, there were students taken off the list in 2016 as per last yearās thread. I donāt know how many, though.

Check Caltechās common data set. In 2014-15, 47 students from the waitlist got admitted. Donāt lose hope.

Accepted student hereā¦ why is Caltech givig me a travel grant to visit during prefrosh weekend???
My child was accepted to Caltech but will not be able to visit during prefrosh weekend. Deciding between Caltech and HMC. Can anyone advise on the differences between the two?
How many accepted students are not going to caltech hereā¦
My son has a classmate that was admitted to Caltech. He only wanted to see if he could get accepted and has no intention of enrolling and he doesnāt plan to let Caltech know before May 1st. My son is angry because that kid took a slot away from someone who may have had Caltech as their first choice. At least one person on the waitlist will be happy in May.
