I think I was rejected because I’m an international student needing a lot of aid. This probably means rejection at Brown and Vanderbilt too. I guess I should have aimed lower.
My Son applied RD due to Ivy restrictions on EA, but a few weeks ago was offered to move into EAII to get quicker action, which he took (Ivy deferral already in). Just got notice he was accepted last night, with Murchison scholarship and will compete for Tower full ride on March 4th. It is on his short list and with merit $ is within reach for us. Very proud of him.

Btw, did anyone else received a (kind of) personalized handwritten letter?
@ACT2017 - he’s applied to quite a few, because many are extremely competitive, so you never know - top of the list is NW, WashU, Tuft’s, Emory (and he applied EA to Harvard and is deferred for now)
@potatotush - yes, he received a nice personal letter that made reference to several specifics on his app - we were all very impressed and I would say that for many reasons Trinity would be an excellent fit for him.
Only concerns are size - it is really small - anyone have experience with that sized school?
