FORMAT:
Username (as it appears below/next to your avatar): ACCEPTED: (list all schools where you were accepted); WAITLISTED: (list all schools where you were waitlisted); REJECTED: (list all schools where you were rejected)
When updating with your results, COPY AND PASTE the most recent list and ADD your name IN ALPHABETICAL ORDER (to make it easier for people to scan and find the kids they are rooting especially hard for). Don’t stress if your update crosses paths with another poster’s….it’s bound to happen, especially during the “peak” hours of M9 and M10. In the past, several people have been known to clean up the list after/before normal business hours to maintain order.
Schools should be referred to by one-word names (Ex: Andover, as opposed to Phillips Academy Andover), but if you need to clarify, make it short and sweet (Ex: St. Andrew’s, RI or St. Andrew’s, DE). You are permitted to shorten names (Ex. L’ville, as opposed to Lawrenceville).
So, what the list will start looking like is (using fictional screen names):
FIRST POST:
KidWithDreams: ACCEPTED: Westover, Thacher; WAITLISTED: Cate; REJECTED: Episcopal, Miss Porter’s
SECOND POST:
KidWithDreams: ACCEPTED: Westover, Thacher; WAITLISTED: Cate; REJECTED: Episcopal, Miss Porter’s
HADESplease: ACCEPTED: Choate, Deerfield, Tabor; WAITLISTED: Exeter; REJECTED: None
THIRD POST:
KidWithDreams: ACCEPTED: Westover, Thacher; WAITLISTED: Cate; REJECTED: Episcopal, Miss Porter’s
HADESplease: ACCEPTED: Choate, Deerfield, Tabor; WAITLISTED: Exeter; REJECTED: None
PrepLegacy: ACCEPTED: St. Andrew’s (DE), Exeter, Hill; WAITLISTED: Hotchkiss, Lawrenceville; REJECTED: Andover
