Love this! Thank you!
Speaking of TJ, any idea when they get their advent calendars in?
So not a happy or fun thing but very useful… I just bought Binax Now tests from Walmart on-line for $15. A little big for a stocking, but they do fit in mine.
I don’t have a TJ’s right in town so I don’t get to frequent one on a regular basis so not sure. Because they are so tied into the seasonal holidays I wonder if they don’t make an appearance until November anyway… if I see any when I go, I’ll post here!
Cracker Barrel has Lindt advent calendars! Much tastier chocolate than TJ’s!
I got D one of these last year and she really likes it.

@helpingmom40 thank you! That is the one I saw on some podcast and wanted to get. Hoping it’s a good one!
Thanks. We’re in So Cal so don’t have Cracker Barrel anywhere close. However, Costco carries the Lindt advent calendars. I was looking for TJ’s 12 Days of Beauty advent calendar.
How about experiences; a cooking class, a yoga class, paint your own pottery, art and a bottle, things like that?
I just bought some Penzy spices for stocking stuffers. Spicy stuff for one, sweet stuff for another, baking spices for a different one. I also picked up some fancy chili mixes for dh. He loves making different kinds of chili.
Penzey Spices! Great idea.
I added a lot of Penzey Spices to stockings last year. They had a $1 sale on the sample packs. They also have a lot of ‘specials’ toward the end of the year. Alas, I’ve decided Penzey is too political for me and got off the mailing list. We have another local company that will now get my business.
Fisher Space Pens are often well-received. Also hot chocolate packets. Interesting teas. Dryer balls. Watercolor pencils. Lip balm. Washi tape. Holiday-themed masks.
I decided a while back I wanted to stop using disposable wipes. These are incredibly soft, and I just throw them in with other laundry. Had them for over a year and no stains.
@college_query Thank you for the link to the cloths. I just ordered two sets for stocking stuffers for my daughters.
Thank you! I like that four pack!
When my D was here at Christmas last year, I put a couple in her bathroom, and she liked them a lot.
It hadn’t occurred to me, but that’s a great idea for a present for her this year! She lives and works abroad, so I need to give her presents that are very small and light and fit in her luggage.
I ordered some for my daughter and nieces, thanks!
Last year I purchased tea towels for gifts - also easy to fit in the luggage! I’m pretty sure I suggested these on last year’s thread:
tea towels are our favorite gifts in recent years (as well as our favorite souvenirs) - they have some cool ones at https://www.uncommongoods.com/
