Thank you so much! 4.0 for all those classes, hats-off to you!
This list will help my 2nd daughter tremendously in choosing her classes for this coming year at her college to stay on Viterbi pathways program.

I got my acceptance May 23! They started rolling in for transfers on May 13th.
Good luck everyone!
Do you mean April 23?
Are you TTP or legacy? Stats please?
Huge congrats
Hi!
I actually receive the transfer deans scholarship and my financial need was enough that the remainder of my tuition is covered by the university grant.
From my understanding the transfer deans scholarship is extremely competitive (~40 per year). I busted my ass to get good grades and also worked constantly (in and out of my field) which must have contributed to receiving it.
I was panicking that I wasnāt going to be able to afford USC but your hard work has the potential to pay itself off.
I hope this helped a bit.
Good luck!
Nope.
I got my acceptance on May 23, 2021!
Unfortunately, USC is notorious for being last to admit transfers because they holistically go through every single transfer application - which is a good thing, because it gives everyone a shot.
However, I did notice the first major wave of transfer admittance was around May 13th for almost every year for the past 6 years.
Actually TTP and non TTP decisions started April 23rd last year. The first wave is in April, use to be around the 15th, but last few years moved out a week+ later to the 24th ish. We really should see some more results this week (some TTPs already heard) and of course more SGRs.
Thanks for info!
Hi all! My name is Seth and Iām from Santa Monica. I am a current SMC Sophomore and I applied to USC as a Computer Science major. I attended an online school for high school and graduated early. I decided to attend SMC because it has an outstanding CS program for a community college and gives me the oppertunity to transfer wherever. Iāve been a USC fan for a while and I really want to attend there for CS. I have a 4.0 GPA and am about to finish up the A.A.S in CS program along with IGETC. Currently, I serve as the President of the SMC Game Dev club and Iām also the member of the CS club there also. I do have a few questions about USC for CS. This summer, I was fornunate to land a Tesla internship on their Video Game Engineering team which really helps the resume. Iām very excited for it and it starts in May. I do have a ton of questions about USC so Iām hoping that this site can help. This was suggested to me from a friend and I thought Iād try it. I hope yāall are doing well and Iām excited to be a part of this! Just reading the previous comments makes me excited about the possibility of attending USC! Woohoo! Go Trojans!
Hi @CADREAMIN, thank you so much for liking my post! I saw some of your previous posts and it seems like youāre the guy to go to for USC questions. Did you/a family member attend USC? I really appreciate these comments on this page and Iām sure that youāre probably on other posts also. I was able to talk with a USC transfer advisor about my application and that definitely helped ease some doubt. Do you know anything about the transfer merit scholarships? I know they vary in amounts. Are there any additional scholarships that you know of? Thank you so much once again!
Transfer scholarships are pretty limited, itās just 40 scholarships for 1/4 tuition, but everything helps! But remember, merit aid is different than financial aid, not sure if you would also qualify for thatā¦you can also look for outside scholarships to apply to, although they can be time consuming for not much returnā¦but thereās some websites to check out to see if any fit. Not sure if an advisor at SMC is up on any. Also check the USC scholarship pages to see if there are any departmental or demographic types ones you an apply for.
Your stats look great! Hope you get your good news soon!
anyone know the last date they give SGRs?
Usually end of May (like May 25-27th) when remaining acceptances, and then rejections, come out.
So, no one has been rejected yet? They just send out acceptances or nothing until the end of May? If thatās the case, then no news is bad news.
Is Dornsife sending non-TTP/ legacy SGRs yet?
Does anyone who enrolled in semester calendar already received SGR?
Got admitted today at around 5:20pm. VTP application to Viterbi CSBA program Some of my friends on VTP also got in
There it is! Expected some this week. Congrats!!!
DS admitted yesterday. VPP participant. CS games. Fall 2022.
