2022 Fly-In Programs

Fly-in programs are all-expenses paid college visits that are usually held in the fall. They are a great way for students to learn more about a college while temporarily immersing themselves in campus life.

Although anyone can apply, preference is usually given to applicants from lower income backgrounds, students who will be the first in their families to attend college, and/or who come from diverse backgrounds or rural areas.

Application deadlines vary and some programs are only offered virtually this year. Check specific programs of interest for more information.

We just came back from a visit to St. Olaf (not as a part of a fly in program). You can definitely see how these programs allow small or remote schools like St. Olaf to increase the diversity of their students.

Thank you @DramaMama2021 and @gotham_mom for the additional information! I had both colleges on my original list but somehow missed them when I created the post. I updated my original post with other programs I accidentally omitted.

Yes, their fly-in program is Voices of Tufts. I did not include them though because the application already closed.

Deadline for Pomona is coming up on August 15…
