A few things to consider when looking at the numbers:

The admit rates are for the overall campus so competitive/capped/selective majors can have significantly lower admit numbers

The admit rates alone do not tell the whole story in regards to an applicant’s individual chances.
For example, UC Davis has an OOS admit rate of 60% however their OOS enrollment yield is only 8%. They also have about 1/4 the # of OOS applicants than the UCLA campus which had an OOS yield of 33%.
