D was admitted ED & is very excited about attending in the Fall. We spent time at Tulane & in NOLA last year. Is there anything worthwhile for her to experience at DT?
I am visiting with my son since we have not visited before. When scheduling the visit I asked my friend (whose DD was accepted ED last year) if she attended a Destination Tulane day. She said they did not since they had visited previously, like you. Went to orientation in the summer and no regrets.
We went last year because we had not visited before. It included: a welcome (30 min), Tours, a student panel, a “why tulane” talk, lunch in the dining hall, model dorm room tours, class visits (many classes available), art gallery tours, multicultural center open house and financial aid counseling. And a free tshirt! It was fun but may not be necessary if you have already visited.
We are ED and visiting this spring, but also did not get a chance to visit before acceptance.
Anyone planning on April 9? We are registered for that date. EDII.
Changed our visit to April 23. Looking forward to it! Anyone else?
