2050 to 2150...in 15 days?

I took the nov sat, got 2060...now thinking about dec sat...possible to make it 2150? got 670cr, 700m, 690w...9e

please give suggestions!

with a +60m
+10w
+30cr
I believe it’s possible, If you concentrate on math you can easily raise it by 60 points
10 in the writing is not that hard, as for the +30 in CR, with a little reading and taking a test sample, I believe you can do it.
Good luck, and waiting to hear your new score ;)

Thanks gueve!! You raised my moral  I hope i can work it out!

Try “morale” and you might score an additional 10 points on W!!!

@BarristerDad118: LOL! haha…hope so :D

lol @ Barrister.

Flibb, do you need writing for the colleges you apply to? Most of the top ones don’t care about it… So you could concentrate on math and cr instead.

P.S. Where are you from, is it not Russia?

@Alone:

I don’t actually need Writing for most of the colleges, but I guess it won’t hurt to get a 700 would it  I will try to improve my essay. Im not so sure how i’ll make that CR jump, although Im pretty sure more practice on the Math will deffo get me a decent math score. Care to help on the CR?

No, I’m not from Russia, how did you guess that tho? I’m from Pakistan :)

Ohh, sorry… Well, it’s common mistake of Russian speaking people (including me) to spell moral instead of morale :P

I see… I’m stuck with 670 CR too (not that I’m complaining, it’s great for me  ), so I doubt I could help… I would offer help in math, but you since you are Pakistani - you are more likely to get a 800 than I am (stereotypes :P)

best 3 tips for CR:

 1. read widely and assimilate as much vocabulary as possible (lists/magazines/books)
 2. realize that all passage answers lie within the passage itself
 3. don’t second-guess yourself.

best 3 tips for math:

 1. use a good calculator (graphing ones are good)
 2. speed through the section very fast
 3. double check, working slowly without a calculator and preferably using a secondary method/working backwards

best 3 tips for writing:

 1. practice, practice, practice (get dedicated writing workbooks and such)
 2. read improving sentences questions after you choose an answer to see if you’ve been tricked (most common)
 3. have in mind a bunch of essay examples that can be applied to any prompt (search around this forum)

hope it helped. good luck.
3.

^ignore the 3. i have a love/hate relationship with lists. sheesh.

Thanks alot srrintah! NP with the 3, cuz your information was quite helpful:)

And Alone, lol, well you’re right actually. I know many people with 800 in maths around here…don’t understand how I don’t fit in :D

As I work day and night, I welcome more advice:)

i think the best advice for you is just to calm down and try to take the test as best as you can.

my friend went into the october sat with previous scores of 690 cr, 710 w, and 640 m.
he had never ever done well on a standardized test, but he had prepped for months.
however, when he did practice tests at home he only averaged about a 700 cr, 740-750 w, and a 710 m.

when he got his oct sat scores back they were : 760 cr, 800 w, 800 m.
he was thrilled lol.

he wasn’t expecting it b/c he took a practice test the day before and got a 2050.

I think you can do it, no sweat.
I went from 1960-2100 with no prep in between.

I hope this works for me. Thanks StrangeIndianFoo and Flare12345neo! Little time, so not really much prep to do!
