what is UTC btw?

it’s a mall between ucsd and sdsu I think

Dude, Cafe Ventanas stops serving breakfast at 2 pm

Well, it is between UCSD and SDSU, but its pretty far from SDSU compared to Mission Valley and Fashion Valley. But I would say UTC is walking distance from UCSD…I think there’s a bus that goes there anyways right?

Edit: Ah, I should have figured it was IRAN.4 asking the questions…I’m sure you’ll figure everything out once you get there. You’re worrying about little things…

John’s ■■■■■■■■ answer did no good…anyone out there with serious answers?

1) There are definitely people on both sides. Can’t really say the percentage because I never bothered to check. You will see people doing both things, don’t worry.
2) Never was a big breakfast fan. Sorry. I think it depends on the place.
3) Of course.
4) If your suite mates don’t purposely dirty it up, not horrendous. But I wouldn’t eat off them. Sandals are required by me.
5) If you like video games, I guess so.
6) If they are close, more often. If they are far, scarcely. What kind of a question is this?
7) Some do. Some shop at a grocery store. Some go out and get McDonalds, or whatever. Everyone does something different, it seems.
8) Not really a hang out spot. I guess if you want to buy stuff…
9) Depends on how much you time you put into studying/working.
10) Maybe, I don’t know.
11) A lot of students have cars, I don’t know about most. San Diego is very car friendly, and you can’t get around with a vehicle.
12) Nobody cares.
13) Sure why not.
14) Depends on the service and location.
15) Both.
16) Both. Cable tv is the same for all cable sockets on campus, I believe.
17) People will make noise from all directions. That’s part of college.
18) Heaters.
19) I’m guessing you meant sex. Work it out with your roommate, or your partner’s. I hope you’re kidding that you censored it. You can say sex, it’s not taboo in college.
20) Whenever you can commit to it.

hmm the only question i did a double take at was 18) Is there AC? Or heaters?
I’m guessing roflkeke’s kidding about heaters..but do [revelle] dorms have ac and heaters or just ac?

Revelle only has a heating system, no ac. UCSD is by the beach, the weather never gets unbearable.

oh wow, that’s interesting

Correction: Its never unbearable during the school year. It’s 80+ today (don’t know if that’s considered unbearable though, it’s a heat wave for SD)

^That’s awesome compared to my temperature over here… 100+ throughout most of the day.

It’s hitting the 90’s in San Diego, especially in the Inland. Coastal is always the same though, due to the beach being right there.

^ Yeah, the moment you cross Black Mountain into Poway, it’s like a difference of 7~10 degrees. It’s generally breezy on the coast, but again, so it doesn’t go much above 80.

1) completely varies. if you are made of money and can afford to use mealpoints several times a day (and good luck considering how overpriced everything is) than you can go get breakfast. it also depends on how early you want to get up. i seriously doubt anyone always does it one way or the other.

2) 11am or something, varies on the dining hall

3) no. there are armed sentries who will shoot you. (of course you can, this is college. just don’t **** off your suitemates)

4) cleaned daily in the dorms, as dirty as you and your suitemates make them.

5) no

6) varies. some people every weekend. others maybe once a quarter

7) on campus first year, definately

8) not that often. you have to take the bus or shuttle to get there and it’s a pain to go often, a little easier if you have a car but then you have to deal with horrendous parking on campus.

9) a lot. you will be surprised.

10) student orgs may run various games, but there is no centralized “gameshow” type of deal.

11) most on campus students do not own cars. the parking sucks and is expensive.

12) tons of people wear the sweaters, really doesn’t make you stand out at all.

13) I slap on my sweater and the girls come running. (it really doesn’t make a difference)

14) usually excellent

15) cafeterias. dining halls = meal points = not real money (well it is, but you’ll see what I mean). price center = real money

16) there are cable outlets in the common rooms for suites and in the individual rooms

17) you won’t hear much noise through the floors, but you will hear a lot from outdoors if you leave your windows open. the walls aren’t that thin but you can hear other rooms if they are being loud.

18) yes to both (the ac might just be a central fan unit), though you probably won’t really need ac ever. it might get a little warm sometimes but it’s bearable.

19) dark alleyways and park benches.

20) get your ge’s done as soon as possible, but plan out your courses so you don’t mess up your schedule

thanks 10 char

you know theres LOTS of people that wear cal/ucla stuff…
I DONT UNDERSTAND IT!!! IF YOU GO TO UCSD WEAR UCSD STUFF NOT CAL/UCLA STUFF THAT YOU BOUGHT AND THEN DIDNT GET ACCEPTED… GAH… REALLY ANNOYS ME!!
wheres the ucsd pride!?!?!

^Maybe they were accepted there and decided to go to UCSD. A lot of people buy their stuff during the Admit Days for those schools. Now if someone was wearing a Harvard sweater…
