Hey guys,

I'll be honest I have not taken my SATs yet, but I just want to know what I should shoot for. My dream school is Wharton at Penn, would a 2100 be good enough? Do you guys have any recommendations for studying? Thanks!

You would def get into Upenn with that score if you had a good GPA, extracurriculars, etc.

No, not definitely to respond to the post above me.

Even with great scores, great extracurriculars, and great everything, sometimes colleges won’t accept you. That’s simply the way it is. It certainly improves your chances, but it surely isn’t as 100% as the poster above me suggests.

To above take my post with a grain of salt. He’d have a good chance to rephrase my words. I’ve known Hispanics to get into UPenn with 2000’s and good GPA’s, etc.

I personally feel that anyone who can score 2000+ can make it to 2300-2400. How much work are you willing to put in? There are many top scoring Hispanic students out there that score extremely well. Practic, practice, practice!

I like that line of thinking! May I ask how you think one best makes the jump from 2000+ to 2300?

I suggest to go through their results thread from previous years to get an idea what’s in the ballpark.
