2120 sat, 2.5 gpa

Hi,
So, I have this problem. I have a really low GPA but a really high SAT. I'm starting my college application process for several colleges and already finished my UC and CSU applications and want to know my chances for several universities.

I am a CA resident.
I go to a top public school, (Top 20 in state for all schools, public and private)
I hadn't taken a single honors course or AP.
I don't know how, but I got a 2120 SAT. I was aiming for an 1800, my family and I where really shocked at my result, especially since I got a 22/36 on the ACT (I'm not going to show my ACT score)

10th grade:
Business leaders of America
Beginning Peer Counseling
JV Football
DJ club

11th grade:
Business leaders of America
Advanced Peer Counseling
ASB (secretary)
DJ club

About 100 hours of Community Service

I applied to..
UC Berkeley (I know I have almost a zero chance due to my GPA)
UC Los Angeles (Same as Berekley but please chance me)
UC San Diego (Chance me please)
UC Santa Barbara (Chance me please)
UC Santa Cruz (Chance me please)
UC Merced (Chance me please)

every CSU (I can get into all of them right?)

applying to...
Colorado at Boulder (Chance me please)
NYU (Chance me please)
SUNY (Chance me please)
UNLA (Chance me please)
USC (Chance me please)

Thanks!!

BTW, is there any colleges I should apply to other than the ones I posted?

NYU, Berkeley and UCLA are completely unrealistic. Not so sure about the other ones.

You can cross USC, NYU, UCB, UCLA and UCSD off your lists. Any other UC not called Santa Cruz, Riverside or Merced is a big reach.

However, you will most likely get in your local CSU and, from there, transfer to an UC.

You must understand that GPA is the most important factor in admission process. Regardless of your SAT score, because your GPA is very low, the chances of you getting into top tier UC schools are slim to none. You should aim for mid tier CSU schools and UCM or UCSC.

How about the University of Notre Dame, last year someone got accepted from my school with similar scores.

Okay, I’m not joking here. My keyboard is really messed up. I meant to put in “2220 SAT score”. My keyboard’s number key’s don’t work that well. Sorry.

So well anyways, 2.5 GPA and 2220 SAT score.

Pretty great, but the point remains. A good test score alone won’t help.
