2150 SAT or 31 ACT

SAT: 610 Reading 800 math 740 Writing (12 essay)
ACT:26 English, 36 Math, 30 Reading, 33 Science (8/12 essay)

How did you possibly get a 610 on Verbal but a 740 with a 12 on your essay in Writing?

writing is so easy to improve on,

kpm114, that is possibly the most ignorant comment i have ever seen.
writing is nothing like reading
i get perfect on writing but cant break 700 on reading as well

Yes. Writing is BS. I got 79/80 on the multiple choice and 8 on the essay. The scoring of essays is completely subjective.

On to the original poster: You have weak CR in both SAT and ACT, as well as good composite scores in both. It really doesn't make a difference which one you release.

the 2150 SAT score is higher than the equivalent score for the 31 ACT (2040)

The SAT writing section matters very little. However, that's beside the point. A 1410 is a good score and a 12 essay is the icing on the cake. It's not a perfect score but it's much better than the ACT (with a low essay and reading)

It also depends where you're applying. A 610 CR will get you rejected from most Ivy league schools (take a look at official acceptance threads on this site...you will see a fair number of 650s and 670s but a 610 is just too low). A 26 isn't much better than a 610, though...
