<p>dude, you’re done. to qualify for the top colleges you just need a 2200 and above with over 700 in each section. taking the SAT again will only make you look like an OCD perfectionist and will actually make you look worse to admissions. work on other more important aspects of your app, including your SAT IIs, APs, classes (GPA), and other stuff. plus, why the hell would you want to give collegeboard more money than it’s already getting?</p>

<p>Hmom, I don’t know if your comment was responding to my post. I thought you posted earlier that you need a 2200+ to be competitive at HYP. I did not agree with that, but I could be wrong. All I was trying to say is that even without a high score, there is still a decent chance for admission, especially with a hook like strong legacy, or with something exceptional like winning a science competition. P.S. She is just a typical kid, white, middle class… Anyway, very good luck to you.</p>
