2220 on the SAT, need to take it again?

On my march SAT I got CR:760, Math:680 and writing:780. Could anybody with experience applying to schools tell me if I should take it again to get a higher math score, or if my scores are competitive enough for schools like Northeastern and BU?

My reach school would be Cornell

You can look here to see how you stack up at each school. [College Navigator - Boston University](<a href=“College Navigator - Boston University”>College Navigator - Boston University)

You don’t “need” to take it again, however if I were you, I’d take it again to raise that math score, get to 720 or so. Kinda so all your scores are in the same range.

If you aren’t a junior, I recommend putting aside another month or two and hammering that math section. Otherwise, focus on college admissions, subject tests, etc.

BU and Northeastern you’re a shoe in with those scores. Cornell though you might want to consider retaking so you can get your math up. If your GPA and subject tests and community service etc. isn’t really up to par for Cornell and it’s a complete shot in the dark for you then I wouldn’t bother though.
