2240/1560 SAT vs 35 ACT score-> Help!

I have the following scores:

2240 SAT- 760 CR 800 M 680 W (8 essay) and a 35 ACT (35 E, 34 M, 36 R, 35 S) with a 10 in essay. Which of the two scores will look more impressive? I am an International student, but my English is quite good.

I am looking only at the Ivies/SM + UC Berkeley and GATech and other high reach school as i have domestic safety colleges.

Thanks :D

Definitely the ACT.

Send both – your Math SAT score is a lot higher than your ACT math score.

@scholarme Yes that’s true but I have 800’s on SAT Subject Math 2, Chemistry and Physics so i doubt a 34 would show my maths to be incompetent.

@CollegePanda96‌ Is it because of my sub par writing score?

Bump please

I’d submit both, since they reveal a range of strengths.

If the school does not ask for all score, then just send the ACT. ACT 35 is a great score. Don’t worry about that 34 in Math score vs 800 in SAT math. It may well be just a couple careless mistakes. Nevertheless, if you are going to take and submit SAT2 scores, then there is no reason to hide your SAT1 scores.

Since you are paying to send the SAT subject tests anyway, send both the ACT and the SAT. The ACT is better, the 34 math is not going to hold you back, but both are spectacular. Congratulations.

Thanks a lot guys, it looks like ill be sending both of them :slight_smile:
Ill wait for my October SAT result though, i am expecting a 2300+

I just got a 2330: 800 CR 800 M 730 W (76 MC 8 E). I should send both right since they are perfectly equal?

2190
CR:710, M:800, W:680 with 10 essay
34 ACT
E:30, M 36 R35 S34 with 10 essay

And Subject scores
M2:800, C:770, P: 800.

Which ones should I send? Please help.

I got a 2400 on the SAT 1 (third attempt), guys!

@VBatman‌ You are hijacking a thread which is really rude.

@Robots156‌ Congrats on that score you should definitely send both as the 35 ACT is also competitive

@fallenwinter‌

But more costly. A 2400 is good enough. What was the essay score?

Ah, to have such problems…

Sorry guys, I did not mean to post that, a friend of mine who has my CC posted that.
