2250+ Possible? How?

yeah so from what i've heard, the admin people really don't like to see that you've taken the SAT a bunch of times. it's great that you've gotten such an early start but for your benefit i'd say to put off your retake until at least begining of junior year. that way you'll have the summer to study and you don't have to study 10+ hours per week. also def focus on EC's or whatever you do in your free time because although SAT counts majorly it IS NOT everything. admins love to see involvement and whatnot.
hope that helps
GOOD LUCK! =)

^
Current sophomores will be able to choose what scores they send to colleges. I'm taking the SAT twice sophomore year because I'm applying to a magnet school where the average SAT score is ~2000 and I want to make sure I do my best on the SAT.

I forgot what a magnet school was but it was on an AP Stats exam... Too lazy to wiki

Sucks if colleges stop superscoring because students have to choose which score to send. What I did to get a 2200 was devote myself to study during spring break with Gruber's and the Blue Book.

Then I got a 2260 october with maybe 3hours of studying. To guarantee that above 2250 you'd have to start studying a little earlier than I did. Just don't make it your life.

Hope this helps!
