<p>I'm stuck whether or not I should retake it, and I've read all the other answers and none seems to be like mine. I got a 2270 on the SAT junior year in January. 800 M 770 W 700 R. I was really happy with this, especially because I think I want to be an engineer. I am very involved with lots of activities and my grades are good, but is this score good enough for say cornell princeton and dartmouth or should i try again for something higher? I need to retake subject tests too, though and I'm signed up to do that in october. I need 2 more good sat2 scores. I have one Nov 1 deadline but they don't take subject tests</p>
<p>Good for Cornell and Dartmouth but CR is too low for Princeton.</p>
<p>I have a similar situation. I would say just retake it (part of the reason is because I am too).
If you feel that you can do better, retake.
A higher score definitely helps.</p>
