2300+ on SAT...would it be beneficial to take the ACT?

Hi all,

I am a junior, and I have a 2330 on my SAT I. I have been suggested to take the ACT and get a 36 to strengthen my standardized tests; however, I'm doubtful as to how much this will help. Do you guys think it's worth it for me to study for it to take it in April, or just forget about it? Also, if I end up not taking it, what are good things I should be doing with my time to improve my college chances?

Thanks.

No. A 2330 looks really good and there is absolutely no reason to take the ACT too. Spend your time doing more productive things!

^^unless you would rather use the ACT in lieu of SAT II’s YMMV but check the specific schools on your list…many allow; some do not…

If you have a 2330 SAT, you have no reason to take any other admissions test other than SAT subject tests as needed for particular colleges.
